Dragon 52155 (63516) in 1907. One of the more famous sires of this era. In the USA, he was owned and promoted by Col E.B. White. One of his grandsons, also named Dragon, can be found on the 1930s era page.

French stallion Bamocheur (62018). Prize winner in France.

Pink 24765 (47513). Chicago International Livestock Exposition, Grand Champion Stallion 1903 and 1904.

This grade gelding was Armour's Jim (or Big Jim). He won four times at the Chicago International Livestock Exposition (1903, 1905, 1906, and 1907). He was sired by Sebastopol 5273 (7043).

French mare Erica (68318) Prize winner in France.

The Armour Hitch, the most successful hitch of this era. Made up of all grade geldings, including the infamous "Big Jim" gelding, see above. They won the four-in-hand class in 1904, 1905 and 1906, the class for sixes in 1905 and 1906, amoung many other hitch winnings at the Chicago International Livestock Exposition. The Armour six-horse team was sent to Great Britain and exhibited at the Olympic Horse Show in 1907. The team subsequently toured Great Britain and created quite a sensation.
