Birth night (above): Whew, all the body parts are there and the delivery was uneventful. The first hour: he gets warm, gets dry, gets a pint of colostrum and he gets a good scratch around his ear! Within the first hour, he is also up on all four legs (and down) and up (and down). Within two hours, he is up, stumbling in the right direction and trying to nurse. Within four hours, he "gets" it!
