The series of photos above represents a part of our small breeding program that we have been working on for over four years! This is mother and daughter, Mountain View's Katie Sue (Jill Malone, riding) and Cielo Azure's Fleur du Soleil (Robert Malone, riding). Soleil is now a coming three year old and this was her first performance class (walk and trot only). Soleil did well (definitely not perfect) and it was a great experience for her to go into a large colosuem under saddle. As there are photos of Katie and Soleil being ridden and driven through out this site, note that both horses have been trained by Robert, Spencer and Jill Malone. We are proud of how they have come along and look forward to many more years with them.

Becca and Jenny Zimler showing in youth cart classes at the Georgia National Draft Horse Show and the NC State Fair. Both girls worked and studied excetionally hard to learn how to show in cart and showmanship and their high placings reflected all their hard work!

Spencer in a dressage schooling show with his Morgan, River. Spencer broke River to ride and is now showing her in lower level dressage shows successfully! We are really proud of him and what he has accomplished with River!

Left: Spencer riding Katie Sue and Ami riding Tiana in English Pleasure the National Percheron Show. Both placed very well (Spencer took second and Ami fourth). Right: Ami showing in youth cart at the National Percheron Show with Katie Sue.

Both Robert and I rode at Ohio State Fair in the Western Pleasure Classes. Robert took first with Katie Sue in the Walk/trot/Canter class for the second year in a row and I took fourth (I think it was fourth) with Tiana. Robert also took first with Katie Sue in the Western Pleasure class at the National Percheron Show (but no photo was taken).

Halter: Was pretty much a rush and a blur this year. We had some nice successes such as Cielo Azure's Corbeau and Cielo Azure's Soleil (full brother and sister) winning first in their class at the GA National Draft horse show and both winning second at the NC State Fair (these were the only two fairs that we entered them in). Our weanlings (Cielo Azure's Nitro and Cielo Azure's Black Powder from this year did well, winning second places at the GA National Draft horse show and winning second and third at the NC State Fair (these were the only two fairs that we entered them in also). Genie (shown above) struggled with a slightly swollen pastern all summer and so she didn't place as well as we would have liked.
