Soleil is extremely athletic, with fantastic action and yet Soleil already understands tempo; she can modulate her gait to do an extended trot. She also works off her back end nicely. Soleil has been an All American Nominee every year of her life except for 2008 (because although she qualified, I forgot to send in the papers). Here she is as a coming three year old (her first big riding show) in late 2007. In 2008, Soloil won the English riding class at the Perry National Draft Horse show and she won 2nd in the National Percheron Show in English riding as a three year old/ Soleil is 18.1 hands now. She just had her first colt, Cielo Azure's Solar Flare. She has just gone back into full time training and is excelling in cart and riding. |
